The Markey Township Hall will be closed the following dates:
Martin Luther King: Monday, January 19, 2026
President’s Day: Monday, February 16, 2026
Good Friday: Friday, April 3, 2026
Memorial Day: Monday, May 25, 2026
Juneteenth Day; Friday, June 19, 2026
Independence Day: Friday, July 3, 2026
Labor Day: Monday, September 7, 2026
Veterans Day: Wednesday, November 11, 2026
Thanksgiving Holiday: Thursday & Friday, November 26-27, 2026
Christmas and New Year’s Holiday: Closed from December 24, 2026 – January 1, 2027

This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72 (2)(3) and Americans with Disabilities Acts (ADA). The Markey Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting or public hearing upon 10 days notice to the Markey Township Board. Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services should contact the Markey Township Clerk.
Proposed minutes of the meeting shall be available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk not more than eight business days after the meeting.
